Alena Chun relocated in 2002 from her hometown, Berkeley, California
to beautiful Portland, Oregon. After graduating from Lewis & Clark College
in 2006, she started her apprenticeship at Icon. Alena was licensed in early 2008
and has been working at Icon ever since to create beautiful and unique tattoos!
She works to design tattoos with her own style, as well as attention to art forms
that she admires, such as: art nouveau, Victorian floral design, antique botanical
prints, natural history, anatomical texts, and typography. In her free time, Alena
enjoys cooking, gardening, hanging out with her rat Missy, hiking, reading,
photography, knitting, and playing scrabble.
